Women’s Wellness Group


Utilizing a human-centered approach, Women's Wellness Group promotes mental health and wellness for women through interactive and innovative workshops and trainings on recognizing the symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, and suicide; and self-care and coping strategies.


Depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adverse childhood experiences (ACES), stress, and burnout are public health issues that affect millions of women in the globally. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) approximately 450 million people currently suffer from mental or neurological disorders at some time in their lives, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide. 

Each year, 1 in 5 women in the United States has a mental health problem such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or an eating disorder. 


Women's Wellness Group convenes wellness groups to educate, empower, and equip women with tools to increase overall mental health and wellness; and address issues such as stress, work-life balance, mental health conditions, trauma; and gender-based, sexual, and domestic/intimate partner violence.
